The ITV favourite, who recently celebrated her 38th birthday, is no stranger to setting pulses racing and has acquired a sizeable fanbase through delivering the forecasts on the likes of Good Morning Britain and ITV Racing.

The brunette bombshell is also a keen social media user and has revealed the key to keeping fit in sneak peeks on Instagram over the years.

Lucy is a big believer in pilates and yoga, using classes to stay toned and maintain her shapely pins.

In the summer of 2016, she jetted off to the Greek Island of Mykonos to take part in a fitness retreat run by Paola’s BodyBarre.

Founded by Paola Di Lanzo, PBB uses low impact flows combining pilates, yoga and ballet barre conditioning to strengthen the core and provide full body toning.

She kept her fans in the loop with several Instagram uploads, one of which saw her posing alongside several fellow retreat-goers as she flaunted the results of their workouts in a summery minidress.

Lucy shared a throwback to the trip later in the summer in which she could be seen pulling a yoga pose whilst standing on a low wall against the backdrop of an incredible ocean view with BodyBarre founder Paola.

Last month, she TV star shared a fun upload with her friend and a furry companion when her pal brought her pet pooch along to a workout.

The trio posed for a fun snap together ahead of a pilates class, with Lucy telling her 78,000 followers: “Bring your dog to work(out) day. Pilates with the pooch @candidamead.”

She has also spoken about her love for Hot BodyBarre, which burns calories in a 28 degree environment to increase the heart rate and metabolism.

When it comes to cardio, it seems  the weather presenter is partial to spinning as she has shared multiple snaps pre- and post-spin class.

Earlier this year, she was captured posing with a fellow cycling enthusiast at Ride Republic, London, sporting a delicate glow after wrapping up a session.

Lucy could be seen drawing attention to her legs in a pair of skintight three-quarter-length leggings, which she paired with a simple yellow vest.

While in Los Angeles last year, she also got stuck into Soul Cycle, a spinning sensation which took the fitness world by storm in recent years.

Posing outside the gym with two friends, she wore cycling leggings and a sports bra, showing off her washboard abs as the three women beamed in the Malibu sunshine.

While she was there, the stunning star also worked out at Speir Pilates in Santa Monica, sharing a fun snap with her fans as she posed under a neon sign at the gym.

Lucy has also revealed to fans that she uses running to stay fit, taking part in a charity race for the Gynaecological Cancer Fund last year.

Sharing a picture from the day on Instagram, she donned a pink vest along with a group of pals, saying: “Top Saturday morning at the start line #LadyGardenCampaign.

“5K 10K donations welcome to support this cause. *link in bio.* eace and love @gynaecancerfund.”

Before She Was Famous

Lucy Verasamy was born and grew up in Norfolk. She went on to graduate with a BSc in geography from London’s Brunel University 17 years ago. This led to a role at the Press Association as a forecaster, which she stayed at for four years. 

Party Time

Lucy once went on a “messy” night out with former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson. It all came about back in 2011 during the BBC motoring show’s live tour in South Africa, and she later labelled it a “lost weekend”. “It was definitely one of the best nights I’ve had,” she told the Mirror.

Debut

After doing a work experience placement, the star joined Sky and became the broadcaster’s regular weather presenter for breakfast show Sunrise. She was regularly seen on screen for half a decade before moving to ITV rival Daybreak.

Bad Memories

Lucy Verasamy has revealed her worst ever holiday, which came about in her 20s and involved Havana in Cuba. After a series of flight delays, she arrived at her hotel that appeared to have blood stains on the floor. “We slept with our valuables under our pillow,” she told the MailOnline.

Live On Air

Earlier this year, the star received a cheeky comment from stand-in Good Morning Britain host, Richard Madeley. She was wearing a denim minidress for the instalment and joked that it might shrink in the rain. The Richard and Judy star then quipped: “I think you should pop outside at once and test it out.”
